The i-CAT® Cone Beam 3D Dental Imaging System gives us high-quality images of your teeth, jaws, jaw joints, and supporting bone which is instrumental for diagnosing, evaluating and planning treatment. One of the advantages of 3D cone beam technology is that it provides us with a view of your mouth and supporting structures that is more comprehensive than that provided by digital X-rays. Another advantage is it eliminates the need for impressions to be taken of your mouth for diagnostic models because it produces these models in 3D digital form.
SureSmile is one of the most advanced orthodontic technologies on the market today. SureSmile treatment begins by creating 3D images of your mouth so that orthodontists can use precise virtual practices to move the teeth into position for an ideal bite. This information is then sent to a laboratory that uses robots to bend a series of wires into positions that, over time, will create the same smile our orthodontists created for you virtually.
iTero Intraoral Scanner
This high precision state-of-the-art scanner is designed to provide quick, reliable, high-quality 3D images of your teeth. iTero scans are used in a variety of treatments, including Invisalign, to help create the appliances that will be used to improve your smile.
This intuitive technology is designed to be used in motion. Using a small wand, our orthodontists can continually scan, eliminating the need for impressions to be taken on your mouth. These images are simultaneously processed to render a complete and accurate image of your mouth.
Waterlase MD™ technology to comfortably correct soft tissue problems in and around the mouth. Waterlase is a laser treatment using a light beam of water. It does not include any shots and uses only a topical anesthetic. Waterlase is typically very quick and can often be used to help keep your treatment on time.
Waterlase is used to provide treatment for:
- Sealing and rapid health of canker sores, apthous ulcers, cold sores, and other oral lesions that may occur with or without braces.
- Removal of excess gum tissue around individual teeth.
- Uncovering of teeth delayed in eruption.
- Removal of excess fibrous gum tissue between the front teeth or the frenum (a small fold of tissue that secures the motion of a mobile body part) that may be restricting tongue function.
